Tim attended Tulane University Business School and received his undergraduate degree in 1987. He subsequently attended Tulane University Law School where he received his law degree in 1990. Upon being admitted to practice law by the Louisiana State Supreme Court in 1990 he began working as an associate attorney with the law firm that focused in part on consumer debt collections. It did not take long for him to realize that he did not find the collection side of the law personally satisfying. That realization is what led Tim to establish the law firm of Kirkpatrick and Associates. Since that time, Tim is focused his legal knowledge on protecting his clients by providing effective consumer law solutions to those who are in need.
Tim has been active in many legal organizations including the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Louisiana State Bar Association. Tim is admitted to practice law in all state courts in Louisiana along with the United State District Court-Middle District (Baton Rouge) and Eastern District (New Orleans) and Federal Bankruptcy Courts in both the Middle and Eastern Districts. When he is not working on a client's case, he is probably enjoying time with his son and daughter, who are in high school, and his wife of 22 years.
